How entry works
Most places come from a lottery that opens at the start of February and stays open for about two weeks. Runners hear whether they got in shortly after it closes, and the race is held in early May. Anyone with ten or more past finishes, and anyone who deferred the year before, is guaranteed a spot, and several charity partners offer entries outside the draw.
