Grandma's Marathon

There's no lottery: general registration opens on a set evening on October 1, about eight and a half months before the June race. In the last two cycles the marathon filled within hours. Once it's full, the main ways in are the official charity partners and the official training group, and a small batch of early Young Athletes Foundation charity entries goes on sale in mid-September.
