How entry works
General entry is by a free-to-enter lottery each December, with results emailed in early January and the entry fee charged automatically to anyone drawn. Guaranteed alternatives include finisher coins awarded at Leadville Race Series qualifier races, charity entries, and first-come training-camp or coaching packages that include entry. Long-standing Life Time club members also get a short head-start window for a limited number of guaranteed spots, and members who miss out are entered in the lottery twice.
