How entry works
Berlin fills most of its field through a free-to-enter lottery held each autumn for the following September's race. You can enter alone or as a team of two or three, and a team is drawn or rejected as a unit. Fast marathoners can submit a qualifying time through the same sign-up for a separately reviewed place, while charity entries, official tour operators and Jubilee Club membership offer guaranteed alternatives.
