How entry works
Most runners get in through a public ballot that is open for about a week in late April and early May, with results emailed in early July; UK and overseas applicants share the same window. Winners must confirm their place by a deadline roughly three weeks after results. Charity places, Good for Age and championship times, running-club allocations and tour-operator packages are the main alternatives.
