How entry works
General entry is by a free public ballot that opens in late September and runs for about three weeks, with domestic and international applicants in the same draw (they pay different fees). Results arrive roughly two weeks after the ballot closes, and successful applicants' cards are charged automatically that day. Charity partner places, official travel packages and the time-qualified High Performance Program are the alternatives.
